With this amazing unexpected weather we have been having I was on the quest for a rooftop brunch and I think I may have found it. 620 Jones is on the roof of a easy to find building just a few blocks up from Union Square.
I ordered the French toast stuffed with hazelnut chocolate, bananas, whipped cream. My friend had the Smoked Salmon eggs benedict and another friend had the Steak and root vegetable hash: steak, sweet potato, beet, parsnip, carrot, onion w/ an egg. The food was beautifully presented and off the charts delicious. We were not rushed in any way and stayed well into the afternoon
Pros: The rooftop is quiet large and we did not have to wait very long to be seated. They have bottomless options but I stuck to a bloody mary and was quiet pleased. Food is delicious. The atmosphere is chill. It's a little hidden so no long lines ever.
Cons: It's in the tenderloin. If you cab it, or lyft/ sidecar/ uber it there you will miss the neighborhood altogether. If you take Bart and get off on Powell, it is a climb and not for the faint of heart.
